In A Nutshell… Most current refrigeration and air conditioning systems waste 20% to 40% of the electrical power used. The LPA® pump can save most of this power.
How is my power being wasted?
Present day designs with head pressure controls were developed some 65 years ago. Higher head pressures were designed into a system so it would function well at lower outdoor temperatures. These higher pressures were needed to deliver the refrigerant to the cooling coils. Power costs a half a century ago were not a factor so the added cost of operation with lower efficiency did not matter.

A variable factored baseline is provided to measure prior system efficiency, characteristics and operating performance. Data is averaged and transferred every 15 minutes to a dedicated server of choice for reporting or raw data retrieval.

Global hike in energy prices rise in the next 6 months
The wholesale price of electric is closely linked to the price of oil, which itself hit a record high of just under $140 a barrel in June. Around the world, South Africa reports an energy increase of 25%, northern European countries, 14% and in the UK, businesses are being urged to prepare for energy price hikes by an estimated average of 12% for business electricity tariffs over the next six months.

| The new range of Co2 LPA® pumps have been designed in Europe in both Imperial and Metric versions to combat flash gas and deliver 100% quality liquid to the evaporators or fixtures up to 300 metres (1000’) away. In addition, combined with one of HY-SAVE’s global patented applications is a process the company calls Liquid Injection or Superheat Suppression, which is used to de-superheat compression discharge temperatures by 50′C (100F), further improving heat exchanger efficiencies and overall system performance. |
